Amy is a policy professional with a prize winning Masters in social policy and experience in five government departments. She is now leading the Royal Society for Arts, Manufactures and Commerce's (RSA) policy and participation work.

At the time of recording, Amy was  a freelance researcher, consultant and writer, undertaking research and advisory projects on government effectiveness and a range of areas of social policy.

Before that, she was Deputy Head of Public Services team in the Cabinet Office, advising the Prime Minister and senior officials on key social policy issues, and the lead for strategy and culture for Early Years, Children and Families in the Department of Health and Social Care.
