About Liam Maguire...

1. Personal Vision:
To positively impact as many under served children, young people and families as possible.

2. Why:
Because your voids often become your values, and my own childhood has certainly shaped mine. As a result, I focus my efforts towards the most meaningful and impactful purpose possible, which is the developmental support of any service that ultimately improves children's lives. After all, they are the future for all of us.

3. Current Mission:
*Leadership management trainer.
At Valleys to Coast, we focus on providing safe and happy homes to people, families and children.
Supporting others to have stable and thriving homes is one of the most meaningful and impacting ways to support society as a whole. Thriving homes = Thriving society.

*Board Trustee x 3
Joint responsibility for 3 charities focused on supporting children in a variety of ways locally and nationally.

4. Future goal:

To further support others with leadership management guidance that will help drive the highest standards of development and growth for colleagues and services; to help shape a social, economic, political & legislative environment that supports young people & families that need it most.

5. Me:

Values & purpose driven, operationally experienced & professionally qualified.

Dynamic experience in high impact leadership management of a variety of teams across private, public and voluntary organisations.

Delivered positive outcomes in multiple fast paced, complex and high risk environments. Operational leadership management & supervision of; hundreds of recruits, soldiers, corporals & sergeants as a Captain in the British Army; teams of mechanical & engineering experts as a project manager for an international technical solutions company; and also care teams delivering the national well being outcomes for the UKs most vulnerable & complex children in the only Secure Children's Home in Wales.

Able to create quality management systems & processes to drive better service practice. Whilst also being deeply committed & passionate about improving over all organisational efficacy to ensure the service outcomes for children & young people.

Ultimately though, focused on leading services that support children's development & champion their rights. Supporting them to achieve their fullest potential is what we do.
